Glen Road, Comber was an old farm cottage that had been lying derelict for years, as you can see from the photos, there was vegetation growing out of the floors!
Over the last few months we have completely renovated the existing cottage and stripped it back to the bare bones and then upgraded with new insulation, re-wired, re-plumbed, new MVHR (ventilation & heat recovery system), re-roofed, re-plastered inside and outside, new windows and doors, new floors with underfloor heating, new floor / wall finishes, new bathroom, new doors, skirting, architraves and stairs etc.
And we also added a modern extension to the side; clad in corrugated metal to the outside walls and roof, and a new open plan kitchen / living / dining room, utility, WC, master bedroom suite and new stone clad, flat roofed link corridor to the old stone cottage.
It’s been great to give this derelict old house a new lease of life!
